A sealed bottle,semi-moist pan tray and brush kit should not be assigned the same arbitrary number of months.
Stock arithmetic is not condition testing
Our inventory tool asks for matching usable stock already held. It cannot inspect dried paint,damaged closures,contamination or an unreadable label. A partly used bottle is not automatically a full declared-volume bottle. If the remaining quantity is unknown,do not turn a visual estimate into a precise stock count.
No homemade restoration recipe
The site does not advise adding household chemicals or another product to restore old paint. A named water-based format is not a complete formulation or preservation specification. Use exact maker guidance for the current product and ask about unresolved condition questions rather than invent a mixing procedure.
Keep labels with the material
An anonymous replacement jar can separate the contents from its identity and caution record. The CPSC guide emphasizes labeled supplies and intended uses. We do not provide printable certification labels or infer safety from smell,color or a closed lid. Generic photographs here are not actual storage-performance tests.
Before donation or reorder
Check the exact condition and current labeling requirements relevant to the intended recipient or purchase. Do not assume that an old product inherits a new named-line registry entry without version evidence. An unlabeled remainder
A partly used container with an uncertain identity should not be counted as a precise matching bottle merely because its color looks familiar. The tool has no way to verify that material or its condition. Retain the original product record and follow current maker guidance for unresolved storage questions. It does not supply a new shelf life,homemade restoration formula or safety label for a transferred material.
